Established in 1975 by our senior partner, Michael A. FitzGerald, MD. Since that time we have grown into the largest GI practice in Central New York with 7 Physicians, 1 Nurse Practitioner and 4 office locations to serve your needs. In addition, we are one of the few GI groups in Central New York that performs EUS (Endosopic Ultrasound) for the early diagnosis of intestinal cancers.
We are affiliated with two hospitals: St. Joseph's Hospital and Community General Hospital. Our procedures are performed at our own Endoscopy Suite, which is located in our Northeast Medical Center office in Fayetteville, New York, the Endoscopic Procedure Center (EPC), which is located in Community General Hospital, St. Joseph's Hospital, both in Syracuse, and St. Joseph's Outpatient facility located in the Northeast Medical Center in Fayetteville.
